Day 6

Another blah day.  It rained and I wasn't in the mood to get creative with the rain.  Worse yet, my camera decided to use an ISO setting of 1600 so all my rain photos are grainy...YAY!    Anyway, this photo expresses how I feel today.

Day 5

Ok, I have nothing today.  Wasn't in the mood to be creative or go hunting for something cool to shoot.  So since I had to buy a birthday present for a friend's daughter I decided to take the easy way out and shoot something I would have loved to have if it was my 9th birthday.  And of course the pink guitar wins out (although I was drooling over all the Barbie stuff and skull themed toys! LOL!)

Day 4

This magnificent tree is on a road near historic D'ville which probably at one time was lined with old homes.  Most of the homes are gone and have been replaced with apartments and duplexes.   But this tree is right in front of a home I call "The Doll House".  The Doll House is an old Victorian Style home, which I'd love to get pics of but I'm still to scared to point my camera directly at someone's residence, hopefully I will work myself up to doing it one day. 

Anyway, this tree is huge and gorgeous with all the flowers on the branches.  I wish I'd gotten better pics, especially closer ones but it took a lot for me to park and take pics with cars passing by and the possibility that the homeowners would see me.  So I stood back to stay out of sight.  I have hopes that I will build up my courage to be able get closer and get better pics one day.  :)

Day 3

For years I've wanted to take a pic of these horses.  They are a couple of miles from my house, and finally today I gathered up the courage to do it (plus I finally had a lens that could zoom in close enough). Took this from across the street, while cars passed by.  It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, I need to get closer or another zoom lens which won't be happening any time soon!  :)

Day 2

At the track meet at Alexander High School in Douglasville.  This event was the 4x1 I believe (I can't keep up with them).  I love how I captured the intensity and anticipation in her face.

Day 1

Was playing around with an external flash and looked down to see Bailey chillin' with her head on my "What Color is Your Parachute" book.  I also snapped it while on my knees, precariously leaning over cause Zoe was between my feet and I didn't want to 'disturb' her.
